Homeless Evening Meal

On the fourth Sunday of each month, a meal is prepared and served for Huff Ministries on location at 511 East Speedway Blvd, behind the house. (Maps with directions are available.) 

Menus are posted in the Narthex, on the bulletin board to sign-up to cook and/or serve. Donations are always welcome of paper plates, cups, napkins, table ware, personal hygiene items, etc.

Cup of Cold Water:  Bring your loose change and drop it in the cooler during the offering:  Extra cups are available.

Food Collections - Little Red Wagon:  Bring in canned foods (fruit, jelly, tuna, pasta sauce, canned meat, cereal, jell-o, diapers, formula, etc)  Hygiene items are also needed.  The wagon is in the narthex.

We will host eight homeless men as part of the Salvation Army Operation Deep Freeze this winter. Contact the church office to find out how you can help this important ministry.

Lutheran Thrift Store Collections:  8:00am Noon the Thursday and Friday prior to the fourth Sunday.  Bring your items to BSLC, tax receipts are available.  More info?

ELCA World Hunger Awareness:  Blessed be God who is our Bread, may all the world be clothed and fed!  Pick envelopes up in the narthex and place it in the offering plate.
