3rd Grade Bible Sunday

If your child is in grades 3-5 and have not received their "Hand's On Bible" please call the church and give us their name.  We will be celebrating the milestone of 3rd Grade Bibles on September 17 during both the 8 and 10:30 services.  This is an opportunity for you to celebrate one of your baptismal promises -- to place in their hands the Holy Scriptures -- with your child.

We invite you to attend a "Food for the Body, Food for the Soul" class in preparation for this celebration on September 16 (Saturday) from 9 - 10 AM.  This is a time for you and your child to look at the Bible’s they will be receiving as well as ask any questions you might have about what will happen on Sunday.  Take time to think about why it is important to you for your child to receive this Bible; What do you hope for them?  Is there a verse that is important to you that you would like to share? Remember, YOU ore one of the most important faith influences on your child.  3rd Grade Bible Sunday is just our opportunity as your family of faith to celebrate with you and your family.
