With these simple words, Jesus recruited some of his first disciples in the Gospel of John. They aren't given as commands, nor asked as questions, they are simply statements. They are just there.

Notice that they do not call you to go out and blaze a trail, or go somewhere alone. They call you to join Jesus in what he is already doing, where he is already leading.  We are called to participate with Jesus in the Kingdom of God. We are not called to create it, but to be in it with him. 

Follow me- go where he goes. Will we?

Come and see- see as he sees. Will we?

May we hear the invitation and follow where Jesus goes, and see what and how he sees.
