BSLC Academy’s Fruits of the Spirit – Annual Fall Food Drive Begins November 2!
As we approach Thanksgiving, our Academy teaches and practices the “Fruits of the Spirit” by hosting our annual Fall Food Drive to benefit the ICS (Interfaith Community Services) Food Bank. Each week in November, students are invited to bring in a designated food item. Donations are collected and brought to Chapel each week with a special blessing before being delivered to the food bank at the end of the month.
Everyone is invited to join in! You can help by bringing the following items to church and placing them around the altar before worship each Sunday. If you need help carrying items to the altar, please ask an usher for assistance.
Week 1: Cereal
Week 2: Pasta noodles, canned pasta sauce (no glass jars please!)
Week 3: Soup, meals in a can (Ravioli, Spaghetti-O's, chili, etc.)
Week 4: Mac & Cheese
