BSLC Academy’s Fruits of the Spirit—The annual Fall Food Drive. At Thanksgiving, the Academy likes to teach and practice the "Fruits of the Spirit" with the students. They do so by hosting a food drive to benefit ICS (Interfaith Community Services) Each week in November, the students will be asked to bring in a designated food item if able. The donations will be collected in their classrooms and then brought to Chapel for blessings before donating them to the food bank. If you'd like to help our Academy kids, they are collecting the following items:
Week 1: Cereal
Week 2: Pasta noodles, canned pasta sauce (no glass jars please!)
Week 3: Soup, meals in a can (Ravioli, Spaghetti-O's, chili, etc.)
Week 4: Mac & Cheese
Donation bin is in the narthex/gathering area.
