Dear Beautiful Savior,

This week I want to ask if showing kindness and being kind is a struggle for you? I would be lying if I told you it has always been easy for me. What I have found over the years is it’s about me making a choice. I came across this note titled the paradox of kindness.

The Paradox of Kindness

You'll give your time, your care, your heart

often to people who may never give it back.

And sometimes that hurts.

But kindness isn't a transaction.

It's a reflection of who you are, not

what you get in return.

Because life has a strange way of circling things

back, just not from where you gave them.

The help you gave returns as grace.

The love you offered shows up as peace.

The understanding you shared comes back as clarity.

You rarely receive from the same place you give.

But you always receive.

That's the quiet paradox of kindness.

Our actions toward others do make a difference in this world of ours for good or ill.

Choose kindness, reflect the light of love, and contribute to the beauty of this life. You do make a difference.

With you in the journey,

Pastor Jeff.
