On April 17 the Sunday Dollars committee presented a generous check for $3,000 to the Marana Unified School District Family Resource Center on Old Father Rd. Members of the committee toured their facility and learned more about how we can assist them with helping families in our community. Thanks to you and your Sunday Dollars donations, we were able to make a big impact on their shoe and clothing supply, canned goods, cleaning products and personal hygiene items for families in need. The center will have an event from 9 a.m. to noon July 26 at Mountain View High School to help families prepare for the school year. More information will be coming about that event and how your dollars can help. Our committee will have opportunities to purchase items and to volunteer at the center in the future.
